In a horrifying attack on New York City, two naval vessels have crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge. The first ship crashed into the North tower of the bridge at 8:20 p.m. on May 17. A day later, at 8:02 p.m., the second collided with the South tower.
President Trump was alerted by Secret Service of the second attack. On Truth Social, the president posted:
“This tragedy will go down as the worst in the history of New York City, perhaps even the worst attack on American soil, ever. What transpired is an apparent act of terrorism against our country.”
Cilivians near the Brooklyn Bridge managed to capture the scene on smart phone cameras. The videos show the Mexican navy vessel crashing into the side of the Brooklyn bridge, scraping along the underside.
After the second crash, all naval travel within the United States was suspended, and President Trump was escorted to the presidential emergency bunker underneath the White House.
Though the bridge suffered no structural damage nor were any American lives lost, the Trump administration is determined to seek retribution for the attack. F.B.I. Director Kash Patel spoke before the press yesterday:
“We’ve concluded our formal investigation into the events that occurred in the Hudson River today and last night. After an intensive, almost 30-minute analysis, we have reason to believe that Al Qaeda has returned and is responsible for the attacks. We also have evidence that points to Mexico’s complicity in the attack. We believe the Mexican government has WMDs and is harboring the ghost of Osama Bin Laden.”
The motives behind the attack are unclear, however, some speculate that the attack is retaliation for the Trump administration’s tariff and immigration policies.
Congress has already drafted a new bill titled “The Super-Ultra-Patriot Act,” which would grant President Trump more flexibility to conduct actions of national security. The bill would make it illegal for citizens to be Mexican-American or Latino-identifying, and have certain provisions for white individuals with heavy tans. It would also expand the NSA, increasing the agency’s budget and granting access to new AI-based technologies.
Trump has called on Congress to accelerate voting processes, posting “They MUST quickly pass the bill before another Mexican-based attack occurs” to Truth Social.
The bill is currently projected to pass by a large margin in both the House and Senate. Trump’s response to the attack has been well received amongst the public, and his approval rating has shot up to 86%.
And?? What do the ship commanders have to say??
